Dengan menggunakan randomized pixel array unik Fujifilm, sensor 24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III memberikan tingkat kualitas dan ketajaman tinggi karena penghilangan filter low-pass optik. Fujifilm X-E3 mendukung rekaman di resolusi video UHD 4K/30p dan Full HD 1080/60p. Modus Simulasi Film dapat digunakan saat merekam untuk memberikan tampilan rekaman yang berbeda, video juga dapat ditampilkan melalui HDMI ke perekam eksternal atau monitor, serta jack mic ditampilkan untuk bekerja dengan mikrofon eksternal.
